INTRODUCTION
Ayurveda in Sanskrit means the science of Life or often know as mother of all healing in Ancient India and has till date has always been part of its Heritage. Dating back over 5000 years, the roots of Ayurveda are deeply steeped in history and tradition. Ayurveda advocates that each person is born with a Prakruti ( basic genetic make-up) Maintaining that genetic make up at the very core of what this healing system seeks to achieve. In your fast paced, often highly stressful modern world, there are plenty of factors that can make your Genetic make imbalanced. This imbalance is referred to as ‘Vikruti’ and is the root cause of disease and ill health.
While preventing and treating and healing is an important aspect of Ayurveda the health system reaches far beyond treating illness and encourages a holistically balanced, well lived life. They learn way the three constitutions—the natural energies—called doshas as well as to recognize them in individuals as well as in symptoms and imbalances. Daily routine is taught to enhance the individuals within their dosha balance
2) Main principals of Ayurveda & Knowledge of Traditional Ayurvedic assessment tools

3) Gunas
All things we ingest are sattvic, rajasic or tamasic in nature. These are the 3 Gunas.. Gunas are the process in which what is subtle becomes gross within the body. It is the quality of what we take e take in. Students are shown the application of the gunas, how to recognize them and how to use the gunas in bringing well-being This part of the course reviews Western anatomy and physiology focusing on the organs, the nervous system and the digestive system. Ayurvedic anatomy is annexed to Western anatomy and physiology and includes Ayurvedic angle on the bodily tissues, digestion, flow within the body
4) Ayurvedic Food Cooking and Cuisine Practical training
